Nutella brigadeiro filling and topping:
Ingredients:
- 250 ml of milk
- 300 g Nutella
- 2 cans of condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 and ½ cups of cocoa powder
Preparation Method:
- In a large, tall saucepan, combine the cornstarch dissolved in the milk, the condensed milk, the butter and the cocoa powder.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it comes away from the bottom of the pan (brigadeiro consistency).
- When it comes away from the bottom of the pan, turn off the heat and mix in the Nutella.
- Transfer the filling to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap close to the cream and let it cool.
- Once cooled, refrigerate for about 1 hour.
- Use in the filling and/or topping with a piping bag and the nozzle of your choice.
Tip:
Before detaching from the pan, the brigadeiro will boil and rise a little, so it is necessary to use a large, tall pan.
