Two delicious recipes for Mother's Day lunch; because they deserve it

It's true that every day is Mother's Day, but on the second Sunday of May, the world's attention and eyes turn to them, an explosion of affection and collective recognition. Since this is such a special day, why not leave her out of the kitchen and make a surprise meal? To help you, we've brought you two recipes for you to choose from, or you can make both if you prefer. To accompany, simply serve with fluffy rice and a basic salad.

Chicken gratin with corn cream!

Take note of the ingredients:

  • 2 kg of cooked chicken breast, shredded into large pieces
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 200g chopped bacon
  • 200g sliced mozzarella
  • 2 cans of sweetcorn
  • 2 cans of cream
  • parmesan cheese (for sprinkling)

Learn how to prepare:

  1. Cook the chicken breast as you like, drain the broth and shred it.
  2. Blend the corn in a blender with the cream.
  3.  After that, fry the bacon and when it is golden, mix it with the cream that you blended in the blender and set aside.
  4.  Now just assemble, place the shredded chicken in a glass dish, cover with the mozzarella, then pour the cream from the blender and finally, cover with the grated cheese and bake until golden.

Ground Beef Fricassee with Cream Cheese

Write down the ingredients:

  • 400g ground beef
  • 100g pitted canned olives
  • 1/2 box of cream
  • 1 cup of cream cheese
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 1 package of potato chips
  • 200g sliced mozzarella
  • seasonings to taste

How to make:

  1. Season to taste and cook the ground beef.
  2. After cooking, separate the ground meat from the broth (the meat needs to be very dry) and let it cool.
  3. In a blender, blend the beef broth, cream cheese, onion, cream and olives.
  4. In a bowl, mix the meat with the straw potatoes, cover with the cream and finish with the mozzarella.
  5. Bake in a preheated medium oven for about 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and, if desired, garnish with some straw potatoes.
  7. Serve immediately with white rice.
