Ingredients

Mass:

  • 400 g wheat flour
  • 200g cold butter
  • 1 whole egg and 1 beaten egg yolk for the dough
  • salt to taste (can be a teaspoon)
  • 6 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 egg yolk to brush the dough

Ingredients 

Filling:

  • 1 kg of chicken breast
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, chopped and crushed
  • 2 chopped tomatoes without skin
  • 1 cup of cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • chopped green onions
  • 1 can of sweetcorn
  • 1 can of tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of wheat flour
  • 3 chicken bouillon cubes
  • chopped black olives

How to Prepare

Mass:

  1. Mix the wheat and butter in a bowl until it forms a crumbly mixture.
  2. Add the other ingredients and knead well until you have a smooth dough.
  3. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes.
  4. Use half of the dough to line the baking pan and the other half to cover the filling, brush the pie with egg yolk.
  5. Place in a preheated oven at medium temperature and bake until golden brown, approximately 40 minutes.

How to Prepare

Filling:

  1. Cook the chicken breast, shred it and set aside.
  2. In a pan, add the olive oil and fry the onion, do not let it brown.
  3. Add the garlic and fry a little more.
  4. Add the shredded chicken.
  5. Dissolve the chicken bouillon cubes in 1/2 cup of hot water and add to the sautéed mixture.
  6. Add the wheat and stir vigorously until it becomes creamy.
  7. Add the other ingredients, mix well and it's ready.
  8. Use the filling while it's still cold so the pie dough doesn't get soggy. Swap the corn for hearts of palm; it's delicious.
