Ingredients for Tonkatsu Sauce:

• ½ cup of beer soy sauce

• ¼ pint glass of ketchup

• ½ pint glass of Worcestershire sauce

• 2 large slices of ginger

• 2 cloves of garlic

• ¼ cup sugar

• ¼ cup of sake

• 1 glass of water • 1 pinch of black pepper

• Cornstarch to thicken

Ingredients for vegetables:

• 1 carrot

• 1 whole Japanese broccoli

• 1 small cauliflower

• 200g of red cabbage

• ½ package of Yakisoba noodles

• 100g of chicken breast or pork steak

• 150g of red meat cut into small fillets

• Salt and pepper

• 50ml of oil

Ingredients for the meat:

• 2 tablespoons of sake mirim

• 1 tablespoon of premium soy sauce

• 1 tablespoon of cornstarch

• Salt to taste

• 1 tablespoon of black sesame seeds

It's worth remembering for beginners that the ingredients listed above can be easily found in local markets or supermarkets, which makes this recipe even more practical and enjoyable to make.

What to do:

Step by step:

1) We'll start with the sauce. Cut the garlic and ginger into very small slices, then add the oil to the pan and carefully add the garlic and ginger. Add the remaining sauce ingredients and stir until everything is well combined.

2) Now, continue stirring over low heat and when it is thick, turn off the oven and wait for the next step.

3) Next, it's the vegetables part. Wash the vegetables well and then start cutting them into thin, noodle-like shapes. Now, use a pot of hot water and bring to a boil.

4) Then, pour some cold water into another pot and add some ice cubes. When the hot water is boiling, add the vegetables for a maximum of 3 minutes.

5) Then drain the vegetables from the hot water and place them in the container of ice water, adding more ice if necessary.

6) Now it's time to cook and fry the noodles. Pour plenty of water into a pot and add salt and oil. Once the water is boiling, add the noodles. Let the noodles cook for 4 minutes. Afterward, rinse the noodles to stop the cooking process and remove excess starch.

7) Now, add 3 tablespoons of oil to a frying pan and add the pasta, stirring constantly. Tip: Use a wooden spoon to stir the pasta.

8) Let it fry until it becomes crispy.

9) Now it's time to prepare the meat. Add oil to the pan and start frying the meat and chicken. Once ready, add the noodles and vegetables to the meat and chicken and cook for 3 minutes.

10) Finally, add the sauce and that's it, Yakisoba is on the table.
