You know that moment when you get home, hungry, and have no idea what to eat? Here's a wonderful tip, you'll love it. This recipe is not only super delicious, but also quick to make and very economical.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 separated eggs
  • 2 boxes of chopped Bis chocolate
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 can of cream

How to Prepare

1. Mix the condensed milk, milk, cornstarch, egg yolks and cook over heat, stirring constantly, until thickened, set aside;

2. Line the bottom of a large ovenproof dish with half of the cream;

3. Make a layer with the chopped chocolate and top with the remaining cream;

4. Beat the egg whites until stiff and add the sugar, little by little, beating constantly, until you get a firm meringue;

5. Add the cream and stir well;

6. Pour this mixture over the cream and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Tip:

Although it is a very simple recipe, I must confess that I made it a few other times to test other ingredients more or less until I found a recipe that I liked.

For example, I find the meringue-like cream that goes on top of the trifle too sweet, so I preferred to reduce the amount of sugar to avoid it being so cloying. This cream, even though it needs to reach meringue consistency, doesn't get firm, but rather soft because of the heavy cream. And any way you make it, it's delicious!

Creamy Gelatin

Ingredients 

  • 1 Can of Condensed Milk (395 ml)
  • 2 Gelatins of your choice (flavors approved by most are Cherry, Lemon and Passion Fruit)
  • 1/2 Liter of Cold Water
  • 1/2 Liter of Hot Water

Preparation Method

Put 1/2 liter of water to boil, after boiling the water put it in the blender together with 1/2 liter of ice cold water, 2 packets of gelatin of your preference, plus the entire box of condensed milk and blend in the blender for 2 to 3 minutes, after blending put in containers of your preference, wait for about 4 hours in the refrigerator, serve and enjoy your meal.

Observation:

Some people add gelatin when they heat the water, I don't do it first because it's one less thing to wash, since there's only water inside the pan and second because I've already tested it and didn't see any difference.
