"Chaves" is one of the most-watched series not only in Brazil but also in several other countries. Although the series is old and has a simpler setting than today's—due, of course, to modern-day technology and special effects—no one can deny that it was all innocent and perfect, and that it can't even be compared to many modern-day series and programs.
The series "Chaves" follows the daily life of Chaves, a poor boy who spends his childhood in a small village with his friends, Chiquinha and Kiko. He creates problems for the adults, Mr. Madruga, Mr. Barriga, Professor Girafales, Mrs. Florinda, and the Witch of 71.
